Patrick H. Gaines
Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors
Patrick H. Gaines has been the Corporation’s Chief Executive Officer since February 9, 2000 and a member of the Corporation’s board of directors since 1990. Mr. Gaines has more than 20 years of experience in the development and management of point-of-sale programs, including the publishing, marketing and sales of point-of-sale discount products and credit card programs at the national level. Mr. Gaines has overseen the Corporation's corporate acquisition strategy and managed the resulting integration and development of products and services including end-to-end check processing solutions and credit, debit and EBT transaction routing and e-commerce solutions. Mr. Gaines has also guided the procurement, development, licensing negotiations and litigation with respect to the Corporation's intellectual property estate which relates to electronic payment methods. Mr. Gaines' background also includes experience in venture capital. Mr. Gaines holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Victoria.
Craig Thomson
President of LML Payment Systems Inc. and President and Chief Executive Officer of Beanstream Internet Commerce Inc.
Craig Thomson has been President of LML Payment Systems Inc. since February 4, 2009 and President and Chief Executive Officer of Beanstream Internet Commerce Inc. since July 2000, bringing more than 16 years of leadership and entrepreneurial experience running high technology companies to these roles with LML. Mr. Thomson has also been featured in several business magazines including Canadian Business, Profit and Success Magazine. In 1999, Mr. Thomson received the prestigious “Entrepreneur of the Year Award” in manufacturing, wholesale and distribution for Pacific Canada by Ernst and Young. Mr. Thomson holds a degree in Computer Engineering from the Royal Military College of Canada.
Chris Koide
Executive Vice-President Operations of LML Payment Systems Inc. and Chief Operating Officer of Beanstream Internet Commerce Inc.
Chris Koide has been the Executive Vice-President - Operations of LML Payment Systems Inc. since February 4, 2009. Mr. Koide continues to serve as Chief Operating Officer of Beanstream Internet Commerce Inc., a position he has held since June 2000. Mr Koide has worked with successful financial software firms, including Peoplesoft Inc., as a Treasury Strategy Manager and Glassco Park Inc. (now Fincad.com) as Director of Financial Engineering and Risk Management. Mr. Koide has over 15 years experience in national and international corporate banking, with a focus in the area of business and financial risk analysis, securitization, financial engineering and cash management.
Richard R. Schulz
Controller (Chief Accounting Officer)
Richard R. Schulz has been employed as our Controller and Chief Accounting Officer since June 2002. Mr. Schulz also serves as the Chief Accounting Officer and director of all of our subsidiaries. Mr. Schulz was employed with our corporation as the Assistant Controller from August 2001 to June 2002. Prior to joining LML, Mr. Schulz worked as a senior staff accountant with Dale Matheson Carr-Hilton Chartered Accountants for more than 8 years. Mr. Schulz holds a professional accounting designation from the Certified General Accountants Association of Canada.
Carolyn L. Gaines
Corporate Secretary
Carolyn L. Gaines has served as Corporate Secretary of our corporation and certain of our subsidiaries since February 1995, and has served our corporation and our subsidiaries in various administrative capacities since 1989. Ms. Gaines is an active member of the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals in the United States.
